Police Arrest Pendleton Man after Chase, Fiery Crash

PENDLETON, Ore. - A man from Pendleton is in the Umatilla County Jail after troopers say he led them in a car chase that ended in a fiery crash. Oregon state police say 27-year-old Zechariah Ayers had been passing cars on the right shoulder of Interstate 84 at 115 mph.

BENTON CITY, Wash. - A potentially dangerous situation near Benton City Wednesday afternoon aAfter a shed containing propane tanks and other equipment caught fire. Fire crews responded to the 4000 block of West Corral Creek Road around 3 p.m. and found a shed fully engulfed in flames.
