Mathis Monninghoff became the third Bulldog to say he is leaving the program to play somewhere else.
Jim Meehan of the Spokesman-Review first reported on Monninghoff's departure on Thursday, saying he decided to leave college and play professionally in Germany.
The 6-foot-7 forward played in 23 games as a sophomore at Gonzaga. He started a handful of games as a freshman.
Monninghoff is the third Zag to leave the program during the offseason. Ryan Spangler decided to go to Oklahoma to be closer to home. And Mathis Keita decided to transfer to Indiana (Pa.) University.
