coming up tomorrow, 911 operators will have to deal with a deluge fireworks
However, if you do have problems with
fireworks, you might be wondering when you should call 911.
While there are definitely some
situations where you should call 911, there are also some situations that
aren't as serious when you should contact the authorities in a different way.
According to the Office of the State Fire
Marshal you should not call 911 to check the legality of fireworks in your area
or to report fireworks violations.
You also should not call if you're trying
to get rid of old fireworks or if you discover something like a storage
container in someone's house filled with fireworks.
For all these situations, you should call
police or fire through their non-emergency number.
