RICHLAND, Wash.-- It's a wrap for the 5th annual Tri-Cities International Fantastic Film Festival. The two weekend-long festival ended Sunday in Richland.
Film-makers submitted their work from all over the world and one film came from as far away as Siberia. Organizers say close to a hundred people attended this year's festival. The event showed everything from animation to sci-fi.
"A lot of people are really excited about it. We get some new people. Returning people come night after night. Some people just are curious to see what this is all about. Most of them end up staying for the rest of the evening to watch them," said Doug Staudt, a festival volunteer.
Around 300 films were submitted for this year's festival and 50 have already been turned in for next year.
