RICHLAND, Wash. - Tea Party supporters in the Tri-Cities didn't let the rain stop them from protesting against the Internal Revenue Service on Tuesday.
Supporters showed up at the IRS office in Richalnd to protest against the agency after a recent investigation found that the IRS had been singling out conservative groups seeking tax exemptions.
Supporters believe the targeting was an attempt to punish the tea party movement.
"Like a terrible child, they want to spank them and put them in the corner, and that's what we're going through these days and it's not right, said Bobbi Miller, a tea party supporter.
This was just one of many protests taking place across the country. It was launched by the Tea Party Patriots" organization.
