RICHLAND, Wash. - Mission Support Alliance is heavily involved in helping out with the Water Follies.
KNDU got a peak inside the Mission Support Alliance warehouse, an impressive operation where 30,000 shipments a month go in and out. As busy as they are, employees of MSA are more than willing to spend their free time at the Water Follies. This year, they're bringing in some of their own company values.
"Safety is our top priority, safety in everything we do," said Chief of Staff Debbie Hovley. "Especially in supporting the Hanford mission. We also bring the expertise into the Water Follies like with our patrol forces to ensure a safe and secure environment."
But it's not just security that MSA is involved in, Hovley said their involvement is across the board.
"We have hundreds of employees that participate in the Water Follies," said Hovley. "Several people are on the volunteer committees as well as some on the Board of Directors. So this is a great opportunity for Mission Support to show our commitment to this key event."
Now, whether you're working the event or watching it, Hovley said the atmosphere surrounding Water Follies is all the same.
"There's a tremendous energy around Water Follies and our employees look forward to it every year," said Hovley.
