RICHLAND, Wash. -- The Richland School Board is getting down to business Tuesday.
Last month, the board sifted through resumes of people vying for the vacant superintendent spot. Now, the board is focusing in on a half-dozen candidates from the Northwest.
The candidates will be brought in Tuesday and Wednesday for initial interviews.
From there, the list will be whittled down to three candidates, who will be brought back for a second round of interviews April 16th-18th.
Board president Rick Jansons says the school board hopes to hire the new superintendent by April 23rd or 24th.
