RICHLAND, Wash., -- The intersection of Lee Boulevard and George Washington Way will close on Friday, July 20, beginning at 2 p.m., and will reopen on Monday, July 23, by 5 a.m. Road crews will work 24 hours a day to complete the scheduled utility, drainage and resurfacing improvements.
All businesses in this area will remain open throughout the closure. The intersection will not close until Friday afternoon, after the Market in the Parkway concludes for the day.
Northbound traffic will detour off of George Washington Way at Bradley Boulevard and Jadwin Avenue. Vehicles traveling southbound on George Washington Way will detour at Swift Boulevard, Newton or Knight Street.
