RICHLAND, Wash. -- Richland's City Council says they need more time to consider a proposal to build a series of hillside condominiums in South Richland.
Tonight, the city council voted to table the issue until their next meeting in two weeks. The proposed development would include 44 tiered condominiums that would be built into the hillside near the Meadow Hills Development.
Neighbors believe the plans should be scaled down, and the city's technical advisory committee agreed. The committee recommended building about 10 fewer condos and scaling down the overall size of the development.
The city council's next meeting is scheduled for September 18th.
