KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Pumpkin patches are typically on farms, but this year there's one right here in the city. City Church created a pumpkin patch next to their church in Kennewick.
There are lots of fun activities at the pumpkin patch for families, like hay rides, face painting and a petting zoo. Organizers say they wanted to make the classic fall pumpkin patch experience more convenient.
"We thought it would be a great opportunity for families to come and enjoy a pumpkin patch, a family event, without having to go far away or on the outskirts of town," said Shawna Tietsort, event organizer.
The pumpkin patch is open Monday through Saturday from 11am to 7pm but the activities are only on Saturdays. So your last chance is next weekend on the 27th.
