PASCO, Wash., -- As the healthcare debate heats up in Washington, a dental office in Pasco is joining several others in the Tri-Cities offering membership plans to those who either can't afford dental coverage or those who don't have it.
Jilek Family Dentistry is offering the Quality Dental Membership plan.
According to a recent report by the U.S. Senate, approximately 130-million Americans don't have dental insurance.
"People need to have their teeth cleaned on a regular basis, usually every 6 months," says Dr. Spencer Jilek. "They need certain x-rays that are necessary to evaluate their teeth and they need to have an examination; all of that is covered under the basic plan that we're offering."
The plan is only offered to individuals or families without insurance.
