Live music, food and dancing are all going to be a part of a new festival taking place in Pasco.
Organizers and volunteers met Thursday evening to sort out some of the details for the Viva Pasco event.
They told NBC Right Now that it will be very similar to Pasco's Fiery Foods Festival, which hasn't happened in a while.
"Downtown Pasco is ready for a big, exciting fun event to be a part of and just celebrate Pasco. With Fiery Foods Festival not having happened for several years, with Cinco de Mayo not having happened this year, it's just time for something new," said Downtown Pasco Development Authority Executive Director Amy Kuchler.
The festival will be on Saturday, September 15th from 3 to 9 p.m. at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Lewis Street.
