PASCO, Wash. - Many families like to stay home on Christmas day, but for others, catching the newest release at the movie theater is a Christmas day tradition.
Employees at the Fairchild Theatres in Pasco say they saw a steady crowd for much of the day including a lot of people who were there to see Blockbuster hits like Les Miserables and Parental Guidance.
"I think this is pretty regular for us, we usually come here for a lot of holidays, also thanksgiving as well, and also Christmas, Easter, any holiday. Its been a tradition, we've done this every single year," said Raymond Engles.
Christmas day is typically one of the biggest box office days of the year for movie studios.
