PASCO, Wash. -- With the HAPO Over the River Air Show just around the corner, what better way to celebrate than to display all the up and coming acts at Bergstrom Aircraft in Pasco.
"We bring in Miss Tri-Cities, we bring in some VIP's to meet the pilots, to see the aircraft to actually kind of touch them, because when they're flying over the show, you obviously can't get that close. but it really really helps build excitement for the air show," says Scott Meyer.
Meyer has been the Airshow Director for the last five years. He says this year they have the most acts to date, eight. Some return acts, some new ones.
This years's show includes: John Klatt, Air National Guard Demonstration Pilot in his world famous Staudacher S-300D, T-33 Shooting Star Pilot Greg Colyer with Acemaker Airshows,· Lucas Oil Air Show's very own Michael Wiskus, piloting the Pitts Bi-plane, United States Coast Guard, featuring a demo rescue in HH-65 helo from Airstation North Bend, OR, Renny Price and his Sukhoi-29, Rich Perkins and his L-39 Firecat,· Misty Blues - world's only all women sky-diving team, United States Air Force Heritage Flight featuring the F-16 and P-51 Mustang
